A ball valve is a one-way valve that controls the flow of liquid or gas by using a hollow, perforated, pivoted ball. To start the flow or to block the flow, the ball and the bore inside rotates to 90 degrees angle. A shaft connects the ball placed on two seats and the control system. The valve seats are discs that seal the ball and its body. The upstream and downstream seats are in opposite directions on the inlet and discharge sides.
